Welcome to my Pittsburgh Buddy Walk® fundraising page! I am walking to show my support for more than 400,000 individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to ensuring that every individual will have the opportunity to reach his or her potential.
My fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as National Down Syndrome Society advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
Our family has taken a couple year hiatus, but we are back and ready to raise more money than ever! Forest is an absolutely incredible little boy, and all of our fundraising efforts help him and numerous other individuals with Down syndrome. We are so lucky to be a part of this community, and appreciate any and all donations towards our team goal. We hope that in addition to donating, you also join our team and come walk with us at PNC Park this year.

Today Forest’s preschool celebrated World Down Syndrome Day. The kids wore yellow and blue, made their own mismatched socks in class, I visited and read books, and the music teacher came in to sing songs about friendship. Im fairly certain Forest is currently the only kid with DS in the school and the staff, and his own teachers and classmates went above and beyond to make him feel SO loved today. They make him feel special every day, but today was just a little bit….extra. 😉💙💛

World Down Syndrome Day is just 15 days away! (3/21). Wear your blue and yellow, wear a Forest shirt and bracelet, and rock your mismatched socks! We can’t wait to celebrate our gorgeous boy and ALL individuals with Down Syndrome!
