The Canton Area Buddy Walk (Formerly known as the North Canton Buddy Walk) is designed as both a local fundraiser and a community event. The emphasis is not on the actual walking, but on bringing families together to enjoy a fun filled day while also raising funds to further opportunities for those within the Down Syndrome community. Monies raised from this event will directly support individuals and families with Down Syndrome through programming and activities, tutoring, adoption assistance and more.  

Join us on Saturday, September 21st for the 2024 Canton Area Buddy Walk®! This is a fun-filled day to celebrate the Down Syndrome community. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Help us spread the word - all are welcome!  There will be a short walk followed by a ceremony of celebration.

To participate in this event, select the "REGISTER" button to set up a new or returning team, join a team, or register as an individual. Additional family/team members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3. After you complete registration you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the "Fundraising Page Set Up" button at the top of the online receipt.

Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.

If you cannot participate in this event but would like to make a donation to the Canton Area Buddy Walk please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab.

Registration Fees: 

Walk Participant - $21 includes walk registration and light meal.

Walk Participant with Down Syndrome - $10 includes walk registration and light meal.
