Step Up for Down Syndrome is the Central Valley’s largest Down syndrome awareness event. Bringing together hundreds of families & friends from Merced to Tulare counties together to celebrate the abilities, value and all around awesomeness of our friends with Down syndrome. It is a great opportunity for our families & friends to come meet others from the Ds community, make life long connections, and learn more about the resources and services available.
Taking place in the heart of Central California at the Clovis Rodeo, this family-friendly event is packed with fun activities!
and best of all, the DSACC Walk of Fame featuring posters of our superstars with Down syndrome!
Did you know Step Up for Ds is DSACC's largest fundraising event of the year and accounts for almost 35% of our annual budget? That is why this peer-to-peer fundraising opportunity is crucial - it amplifies DSACC's reach and impact. When you engage your network to raise funds, not only are you increasing financial support but also spreading awareness about Down syndrome.
This grassroots approach helps us connect with more people, fostering a broader and more inclusive community. The funds raised directly support essential programs and services, like PRINT21, Buddies Bodies & Boundaries, Creating A Plan, Sib Shops, Tiny Tots, and our many monthly support groups; enabling us to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Your efforts ensure that we can continue our mission and make a lasting difference.

To participate in this event, select the "REGISTER" button to set up a new or returning team, join a team, or register as an individual. Additional family/team members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3. After you complete registration you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the "Fundraising Page Set Up" button at the top of the online receipt.
Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year. If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.
If you cannot participate in this event but would like to make a donation to the Down Syndrome Association of Central California, please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab.
Registration Fees - T-shirts available for additional fee
General Admission - $15 (Includes admission to all Step Up events and keepsake!)
Kids 3 & Under - free (Includes admission to all Step Up events.)
Individual with Down Syndrome - free (Includes admission to all Step Up events.)
The last day to register with a t-shirt is October 10.
