The Eastern NC Buddy Walk has been cancelled due to the 90% forecast of thunderstorms and severe weather.  Stokes Farm has received an abundance of rain over the past week and can not accommodate large crowds with the additional forecasted rain.

Due to the planning that goes into the Buddy Walk NCDSA will be unable to reschedule the event. We appreciate your patience.

Instead NCDSA is scheduling a family friendly event at Sawyer's Fun Park. Jump with us as we celebrate Individuals with Down syndrome in a family friendly environment safe from the weather.  More details can be found on the NCDSA Facebook page.

Join the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance - Eastern NC as we unite for a common cause and raise funds at the 2023 Eastern NC Buddy Walk®. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Help us spread the word; all are welcome for our day of celebration!

To get started, just select the "REGISTER" button to start a team, join a team, or register as an individual. Additional family members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3.  After you register, you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the "Fundraising Page Set Up" button at the top of the online receipt.

Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.

If you cannot participate in this event but would like to make a donation to North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance - Eastern NC, please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab.

Participant with a t-shirt: $16 - Walk registration with a t-shirt included if registered by 4/2

Participant without a t-shirt: Free registration (t-shirt not included).

Participant with Down Syndrome: Free registration (includes shirt)

Virtual Participant with a t-shirt: $25 - Virtual participant with t-shirt shipped after 4/30

Virtual Participant without t-shirt: Free - Virtual participant (t-shirt not included).

Virtual Participant w/ Down syndrome: $5 - Virtual participant with t-shirt shipped after 4/30
