With over 250,000 people in the United States with Down syndrome, we strive to provide tools and opportunities that promote awareness, acceptance, and inclusion in our communities. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that every individual with Down syndrome will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
My fundraising efforts will support local programs and services through the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO), as well as National Down Syndrome Society advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.

Just bought 6 summer maternity shirts for $13 on a FB moms selling wall! It’s now my favorite page!! Super excited!!
I told this silly kid to go get his shoes on and he said “oh ok mommy!” And he had his shoes in his hand. I went to brush my teeth and he comes in like this! 😂 he apparently got distracted by Hailey Hofacker’s crocs haha he was so cute and silly this morning!! We spent probably 30 minutes hiding and finding Easter eggs! 😂
The band is playing one of my faves this morning and it’s a new one and they killed it!! Come join us at 8:30, 9:45 or 11!! #tremble
This was my highlight of the night!!! When my baby got to sing a trio with the only other seniors in the choir!! Brought tears to my eyes!!!

If you want something to do tonight, my beautiful girl, Alyssa Hofacker, will be singing her her HS choir at the Midland Theatre at 7 pm!!! Super excited to see her doing what she loves! She’ll also be performing with an ensemble of just seniors so I may cry a little 😂

Met 2 new neighbors today because my mower had 2 flat tires, and my “go to” Dorothy Anthony were out driving!! They got me up and running and it finally sold for $300! So thankful for good neighbors and excited to get the thing out of my yard but this John Deere has gotten me through some thick grass 😂 first one I’ve ever bought as a single mom! Goodbye Deere friend!

This beauty won 2nd place with her poem!!!!! Super proud of you Alyssa Hofacker!! Way to go baby!!
So incredibly proud of my baby!! Today she was party of a “poetry slam” and she did amazing!! They will announce the winner but no matter the outcome she put a lot of thought and raw emotion into this poem and I couldn’t be more proud!! Alyssa Hofacker you are the winner in my book and I’ll always be your biggest fan!!! Turn sound up because the mic wasn’t on for her. Thanks daddy (Bill Weaver) for being there to watch her and recording it for me since I had to be in Columbus!! I will post the words in the comments if you can’t understand it but it is the same poem I posted last month
GO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW!!!! Unsung Hero Movie was incredible!!! So so inspiring and mother Theresa’s quote at the end is something I strive to do everyday!! Wanna know what it is??? Go see it!!!!
Senior Sunday wouldn’t be complete without a shoutout to the teachers who have poured into Alyssa’s life throughout her 13 years of school and Denise Hershberger Mullett is one of her faves!!! Thank you for loving my baby girl through some really hard times and helping her to get to where she is!! Putting her in your class her freshman year was the best decision ever! #seniorsunday
