Join the Virginia Down Syndrome Association as we unite for a common cause and raise funds during the 17th Annual Step UP for Down Syndrome 5K & Family Festival! Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Help us spread the word and celebrate all the amazing individuals with Down syndrome!

To get started, just select the "REGISTER" button to start a team, join a team, or register as an individual. Additional family members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3.  After you register, you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the "Fundraising Page Set Up" button at the top of the online receipt.

Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.

If you cannot participate but would like to make a donation to the Virginia Down Syndrome Association, please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab. 

Registration Fees:

Individual with Down syndrome: Free, register by 9/15 at midnight to receive t-shirt.

Registrant - Ages 3 & Up: $20, register by 9/15 at midnight to receive t-shirt. Price increase on 9/16 to $25.

Registrant - Ages under 3: $10, participant must be born after June 2020 for this fee. Register by 9/15 at midnight to receive t-shirt.

Virtual Participant: $25, register by 9/15 at midnight to receive t-shirt. Fee includes shipping for t-shirt within the U.S.

Dog: $10, includes bandanna, clean-up bag and special pup treat.
