Team Walk Years: 5
Welcome to our 2018 Tulsa Buddy Walk® team fundraising page! We are walking to show our support for our child and more than 400,000 other individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that our child and every individual will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as National Down Syndrome Society advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
Make your tax-deductible donation today and take the first step toward helping us achieve our goal. Thank you for your support!
Our Funds Raised: $60.00
We are star struck! Christina and Angel from Born this Way. They just got married and were so delightful. 💛💙
Literally cannot wait for the @ndscongress conference! Looking forward to meeting Facebook/Insta friends in real life and making a ton of new friends. Oh and we’ll learn stuff while we’re there too. Woohoo!! See you tomorrow Texas! #2018NDSC #texasbound #nothingdownaboutit
Jonah’s check-up with the cardiologist today went well. Jonah has a small patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in his heart which we have always known about. This is a blood vessel that connects the pulmonary artery to the arota. His is so small that it’s not expected to cause concern but we’ll go back in two years to check again. Most children with Down syndrome have some type of heart defect and some require surgery.
Curious why I love the Little Light House so much and why I’ve set my fundraising goal at $15,000 this year? Come to this FREE lunch next Wednesday, July 11 and learn about what makes our school so amazing. You can RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 918-664-6746. I can’t think of a better way to spend your lunch break! https://www.classy.org/fundraiser/1508446
We ordered a window doggie door from Amazon and installed it last night. The dog isn’t interested but Jonah sure is. 😂🐶
Amazing getaway in Las Vegas to celebrate our 10 year anniversary a bit early. It was so fun going back to where it all began. Swipe for our wedding photo. Both photos taken at @caesarspalace Venus Garden. 🤵👰🎲💞
Hey @gapkids! I see what you did there. #inclusion #downsyndrome #nothingdownaboutit #caesarspalace #lasvegas
Happy Father’s Day in Heaven daddy. Because of you, I knew what standard to look for in a husband and a father to my own children. You cherished me and I’ll never ever forget that. I love you and miss you so much.
It’s definitely a Monday over here. I’ve got a sore throat and a headache. Jonah is congested, suuuuuper cranky and was up several times last night (which means I was too). But then they hold hands and my heart melts. 😍
This four year old had a top-notch day! We celebrated with friends and had yummy cake. We couldn’t love him more. 💙💛
