Welcome to my fundraising page for The Extra Mile®. I am participating in The Extra Mile® because when you help DSAMT, you’re not just changing the life of one individual or even just changing the lives of those with Down syndrome. You’re helping the entire Middle Tennessee community. DSAMT supports inclusion and acceptance in our community, schools, churches, the workforce - everywhere!  They bring value, and help build a better community for everyone. They help the community better understand the extraordinary gifts that those with "something extra" bring to our lives and to our communities, and, in doing so, improve the lives of everyone. 

DSAMT trains educators, providing new tools they might not otherwise have access to. Helps physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners provide better care to their patients and better understand their needs and those of their families. They help businesses improve diversity in employment and improve their accessibility.
