Northern Colorado DS Walk

We will have two walk routes again this year. The first route will be a 2.25 mile paved loop that goes around the lake. The second route will be a 0.8 mile out and back option. You can do either option. Please choose the route that will be best for your team. We will have 1 aide station on the other side of the lake for the longer route. 

Please note: Deadline to register and secure a T-shirt was September 8th. If you are registering after this date, your shirt size may not be guaranteed. All teams who are representing a person with Down syndrome will be included on the back of the shirt if registered by the deadline.

EXCITING NEWS!

Drumroll please…our special guest speaker is: 

Megan Bomgaars! 

Some of you may remember Megan, a person with Down syndrome, who starred in the reality TV series “Born This Way”. She will motivate us all to get moving by sharing some of her amazing accomplishments and her message of inclusion! 

We will also have Maddie the Marvelous! A deaf cattle dog who has been trained with American Sign Language who will be set up at a booth to show us her skills!
