Jeremiah and I are so excited to continue to be apart of the GS Buddy Walk and festival. Our average fundraising efforts typically bring in about $5,000 that supports the GSDSS programs.
Jeremiah also has earned a classroom grant for his class every year since we launch the program. Even though Jeremiah will not be here next school year, we still hope to raise money for his current teacher Mr. Smith at Aynor Middle. Mr. Smith is a wonderful teacher. He plans many field trips for his class throughout the year, he's fun and engaging, and truly supports his students. He is definitely a deserving teacher of this grant.
GSDSS has provided over 40 individuals with Down syndrome free swimming lessons, provides social outings on a monthly basis, and offers families in the area a truly welcoming network of families working together to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome.
Welcome to our Grand Strand Buddy Walk® & Festival team fundraising page! We are participating to show our support for our child and more than 400,000 other individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that our child and every individual will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as National Down Syndrome Society advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
Make your tax-deductible donation today and take the first step toward helping us achieve our goal. Thank you for your support!
