The goal of the 2020 SMILE ON DOWN SYNDROME SMILE MILE is to celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. We will raise money to support critical programs; our goal is to raise $70,000 to help support the goals of S.M.I.L.E. on Down Syndrome. SMILE serves hundreds of families who have a loved one with Down syndrome, and has expanded to reach the disability community as a whole. The SMILE Center was opened in 2011 at 105 NW 4th St., Evansville, IN and continues to provide vital opportunities for people of all ages from newborn to adults.
The health, safety and well-being of everyone participating in this event is a priority at all times. Please know that we are carefully following CDC and Department of Health Guidelines as it relates to COVID-19 and we will keep everyone informed should we need to make any changes to the event.
