Thank you all who supported, walked, and came out to celebrate Down syndrome on Sunday, October 8th. What a BRIGHT, WINDY AND FUN DAY for the Step Up for Down Syndrome – DSIA’s 13th Annual Walk.
The Walk had it all – old friends, new friends, great exhibitors, wonderful entertainment, fantastic food, and…the Walk raised over $30,000 that will enable DSIA to continue to provide resources and support within the Sacramento area and surronding counties. Donations to the DSIA Step Up Walk can still be made until December 31, 2017.
Because of the generosity of family, friends, and co-workers, this is just an example of the types of programs that will benefit from your fundraising:
- Parent-to- Parent Program
- Educational speakers
- Social events
- Medical Outreach Program
- iCan Bike Program
Congratulations to all the teams and individuals for their donations and
