Welcome to our Delaware Down Syndrome Walk & 5K team fundraising page! We are participating to show our support for our child and more than 400,000 other individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that our child and every individual will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome in our community.

This is 44. Seeing one of our favorite bands, The Wood Brothers. Happy Birthday love!
The dream team ! So thankful for these doctors. Finβs getting discharged tomorrow ! Whoooo hoooooo !!!
This day 2 years ago was Finβs first unsuccessful surgery on his esophagus. After 2 long years he is successfully connected ! He has a couple more tests and a few more milestones to hit before he gets discharged, but he is moving in the right direction ! ππππ
Fin update : Fin did amazing yesterday ! Surgery took about half the time they expected and the surgeons had to do less than they thought. He is officially connected ! WHOO HOOO! The next 3-5 days are crucial for healing. Canβt wait to see his smiling face again. Hereβs SUPER FIN right before surgery ! π
Tomorrows the day ! Fin goes in for hopefully his last surgery at John Hopkins All Childrenβs Hospital to connect his esophagus ! Itβs been a wild ride, but we are still very confident with his doctors and know that heβs in the best hands for the job. Please keep Finny in your thoughts !ππππ

Finβs our tiny super hero ! Finley received this awesome cape from TinySuperheroes! Check out this amazing organization who provides capes to kiddos who are fighting illnesses and/or with disabilities. ππ¦ΈββοΈπ

3rd trip to Dr. Smithers at All Childrenβs Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL . Surgery number β¦.. who knows at this point ? Fin will have a procedure this trip called the Kimura procedure. This will stretch his esophagus with hopes that we will be able to connect his esophagus and stomach on our next trip ! Wish him luck ! ππππ
This is 2 ! Happy birthday little love bug ! This year might not of been the year we planned , but you sure did make the best of it. No matter what the situation you always bring so much light and joy to it. I canβt imagine life without you. I love you Finley Dennis ! ππππ
Willowβs famous ! πππ In all seriousness, we cannot say enough good things about St. Elizabethβsβs Pre K program! We are so thankful we chose to enroll her there . If you are looking at Pre K programs for next year , definitely check out St. Es !
