Hannah Fredette

Hello, everyone! My name is Hannah Fredette, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas as the Director of Programs. This journey has been incredibly meaningful to me, as it's a culmination of a lifelong dedication to making a difference in the disability community.

My passion for helping others ignited early on, guiding me to pursue a degree in special education. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Master of Science in Special Education from Oklahoma State University. Following my education, I had the privilege of teaching as a secondary resource teacher in Prosper ISD and later as an elementary resource teacher in Richardson ISD.

Now, as a member of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, I'm honored to advocate, support, and educate individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and our community at large. Each day, I strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
