Welcome to our Buddy Walk® in Bloomington team fundraising page! We are walking to show our support for our child and more than 400,000 other individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that our child and every individual will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
Our team will look a little different this year, as Brianna and I have both joined the Down Syndrome Family Connection Board! We will both be working at the event, but would still love to see you there!
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.

Time has come for this sassy girl to compete again! Come join us Thursday night at 7pm Monroe County Fall Festival Queen Contest. There will be buckets for each contestant and the one with the most money raised will be “Miss People’s Choice”! Come support these wonderful ladies!

Round #??? I’ve lost count! 8 quarts and a pint of tomato juice 5 1/2 pints pasta sauce and 2 batches of salsa for the fridge. Put a fork in me….im done!

After 8 hours on my feet…round #3 18 quarts, 12 pints of pasta sauce 7 pints of tomato soup and more chili base and tomato sauce in the fridge ready to can…..I’m beat! 🥱😴
Round 2….12 pints of Italian seasoned tomatoes and 14 pints of diced tomatoes.
Today’s project…13 qts, 4 1/2 pnts Pasta sauce and 8 pints of chili base And more to go!

This sassy girl is going out for Monroe County Fair Queen again this year. We are looking for sponsors! If you would like to sponsor, please let me know. Money is due by June 21st. I can take cash check or Venmo. The Queen contest is June 29th at 7pm. Sponsorship Levels: Bronze - $25 (name mentioned with contestant info read by emcee) Silver - $50 (Bronze level plus name in pageant program) Gold - $100 (Silver level plus name/logo projected on wall at contest and recognition on Facebook) Platinum - $250+ (Gold level plus recognition on radio during the fair)
