T-Shirt Design Contest
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) wants to see your creativity and t-shirt design skills!
DSACO is hosting a T-Shirt Design Contest for the official 2020 Columbus Buddy Walk® commemorative t-shirt. Your design could be chosen and displayed on over 5,000 t-shirts for the 2020 Columbus Buddy Walk - Walk Your Way Weekend, October 3-4, 2020. See below for rules and information.
Contest Rules:
- Contest is open to all Columbus Buddy Walk® participants - any age!
- One (1) design allowed per individual.
- Design contest runs from July 12- July 19. All final designs must be submitted no later than Sunday, July 19, 2020 (12 p.m. EST) to BuddyWalk@dsaco.net with "Buddy Walk T-Shirt Contest Submission" in the subject line. If your file is too large, send an email and we will make other arrangements.
- The winning design along with the second and third place winning designs become sole property of DSACO and Columbus Buddy Walk®
- All designs must be completely original artwork. We encourage you to use your own creativity.
- No clip art or stock photos. No work copied from copyrighted or published materials is permitted.
- All designs must be created and submitted in a vector based program such as Adobe Illustrator, etc.
- Convert all fonts to outlines.
- Design is for the front of the shirt only and must be submitted in black with white/transparent background.
- The design must be submitted in a print ready format.
- Entries not complying with the contest rules are subject to disqualification without prior warning.
Theme:
The design must include the following:
- Official Columbus Buddy Walk Logo
- Logo can be viewed here (please email buddywalk@dsaco.net to request a vector file, if needed)
- Date/Year - October 3-4, 2020
*The design must reproduce well on a colored, cotton t-shirt in white ink.
Judging:
All designs will be sent to the 2020 Buddy Walk Team Captains to vote on the week of July 20.. The design with the most votes on July 24, 2020 will win. Only one vote per person. Any design associated with improper voting will be disqualified.
