Welcome! 

Thank you for registering your team for the 2021 Columbus Buddy Walk®!  We are very excited that your team will be joining us for our celebration of all individuals with Down syndrome! Remind your friends and family to mark their calendars. Whether this is your first walk or your 19th walk, please be sure to download and print the Virtual Fundraising Toolkit. This toolkit will provide you with all the tools and information necessary to achieve your fundraising goal, even virtually!

First thing first, upload a photo of your buddy and a quick story of your buddy to your team’s page. After you have customized your page, encourage your friends and family to go to columbusbuddywalk.org and register to walk with your team or make a donation. You can do this with phone calls, emails, and social media posts. Ideas of how to do this and other tips are included in the team captain toolkit. DSACO has also made available a Google Document with fun fundraising ideas that have been shared by other team captains – add your ideas and look through it to get new ideas!

We encourage you to read through the toolkit to make sure you are aware of deadlines, standards, and tips that you need to be successful.
